Description
Orange Johnson arrived in Worthington Ohio in August 1814. He was a skilled hornsmith, farmer, businessman, banker, and real estate investor. He sold several real estate parcels to the railroads, including the site east of High Street where Union Station was subsequently built. He lived at 956 High Street in Worthington, but later moved to Columbus in 1862 in a large mansion where the Columbus Musuem of Art now stands.
